The highlight of this journey was Petra with its red sandstone rocks and the many wonderfully decorated camels that waited for tourists everywhere in this ancient city. But there was also a lot to discover in Amman and Madaba. The many encounters with Jordanians, whose friendliness and hospitality can hardly be surpassed, remain unforgettable.
